I'm a little concerned about how big I'm actually going to get this time around. I realize with twins, I'm probably going to be bigger than the average singleton, but it's making me a little nervous. I had Dan take a belly shot of me this week at 17 weeks. I then started to compare it to the belly shots I had when I was pregnant with Lucy. Um... I'm measuring about 6-8 weeks ahead of last time!
Here's a few pics, I let you be the judge.
The one on the top is me now at 17 weeks. The one on the bottom is me 3 years ago at 25 weeks. Hmmm, not much difference! Yikes! In a few months I'll look ready to pop! LOL.
There's also no way my maternity clothes are going to last me to the end. I'm wearing stuff now that I wore at the end of the pregnancy with Lucy.

I got lots of crazy looks, like I was getting ready to pop when I was only about 7 months along...people were even asking me if I was due any day...at the end you could see both of the boys and the position they were in, while they were in my belly--you could see clearly defined heads, bodys, and bottoms. Turns out you will always measure big after you've had twins...I have measured large this whole pregnancy eventhough the baby hasn't...she said it was because I had twins before!
I just have to say something about being barefoot and pregnant.....
Embrace your tummy, Kristin! A woman is entitled to expand when she's carrying twins. I think you look great. Thanks for posting!
Don't forget it is your second pregnancy too. I didn't show with William till I was past 20 weeks and I started showing with Josiah at 12 weeks!! I had to buy new clothes at the end of my pregnancy with him too. Your body says "oh, I have done this before..." and BAM there ya are all hanging out there and what not...haha.
And you look SUPER cute. I love pregnant bellies!
