next stop, the Ivy League

Yesterday I gave Lucy some paper and a few crayons and she happily scribbled away. Then I gave her another piece of paper and with her chubby little toddler hand, drew a circle. Now it was a lopsided circle, but it was a circle nonetheless. Then she put 2 dots and said "eyes" and then another dot below and said "nose" and then drew a small line under that and said "mouth" . It was clearly a face. She drew a face!

Now I don't know at what age kids begin to actually draw. But I was impressed. I guess she is taking after her Daddy and is also going to be an artist. I was blown away and promptly took the paper, dated it and will put it away with her other special keepsakes. My baby is a genius! :) lol
