For any of you reading this that are not my friends on Facebook, then I have an announcement. We "came out" with our big news last week on Facebook so I should go ahead and start blogging about it as well.
I am 9 weeks 2 days pregnant with identical TWINS!!!!!!
We are so excited and couldn't be happier. After losing 2 pregnancies this past year I was beginning to wonder what was wrong with me and would we ever have another baby. Now we're getting 2!
It's going to be a long 40 weeks. The twins share a placenta and that can put one of the babies at risk should the other one start "stealing" nutrients and depriving the other.
But, I am praising God that right now the babies are healthy and have strong heartbeats.
