16 weeks

Wow, after my last post, I really didn't think it would take me almost a month to do another one. I'm finding it difficult to carve out a block of time during the day to blog. I used to do most of my posts at night after Lucy when to bed, but it seems like once dinner is over, I'm ready to shower and get to bed. It's not unusual for me to be in be at 7:30 and asleep by 8pm. I'm just so tired by the end of the day all I can think of is sleep.  While I got a lot of my energy back in the second trimester, the exhaustion didn't stop. It's hard work growing 2 babies! :)

I'm 16 weeks today...only...20 something weeks to go. I'm almost half way there.

Ya know, I had a friend tell me way back at the beginning of the pregancy that a twins pregnancy is alot different than a singleton pregnancy. (She should know, she has twin boys and is expecting a baby girl anytime)  At the time, I didn't fully understand how it could be so different. BUT, I'm learning. It's hard to explain, but I will say that it is definitely harder on your body and my hat goes off to woman who are carrying 3 or more babies. I can not imagine...

I took Lucy to Shelbyville beach on Friday. I went with  my neighbor and her 2 little ones. I wasn't sure how Lucy would like it. I knew she'd love the sand, but I wasn't sure how she'd react to the water. We tried a big pool last year and she didn't like it, so I was wondering how she'd do this year. Well, she loved the water. So much so that I was a nervous wreck trying to keep a hold of her. Luckily my friend had an extra lifejacket and that helped some, but I still had to keep my hand on her the whole time.  I'd love to go back and do it again, but nect time I will have to take help with me.

I took the camera thinking I could take some pictures, but there was no way for me to hold a camera and hold on the Lucy at the same time. Oh, well. Maybe next time.
